Ingredients:

  • Peeled and deveined shrimps
  • Small tortilla wraps
  • Lettuce
  • Red onion
  • Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Teaspoon salt
  • Tablespoon chili powder (or more)
  • 3 clves garlic minced
  • ½ tablespoon smoked paprika
  • ½ tablespoon cayenne powder
  • 1 lime

Ingredients cilantro sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 sour cream
  • Minced garlic
  • Pinch of salt
  • One habanero (or more)
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Zest of one lemon
  • ½ cup cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Dry the shrimps with a paper towel. In a bowl mix the olive oil, chili powder, minced garlic (3 cloves), smoked paprika, cayenne powder and a teaspoon of salt. Add the shrimps and set it in the fridge for a couple hours or overnight.
  2. Heat your grill to medium/high heat. 
  3. Add all the ingredients to make the cilantro sauce. Use half for mixing with the shredded lettuce and half as a sauce to top off the tacos.
  4. Shrimps only need a couple minutes a side on the grill. They are done when they go more in the “C” shape. 
  5. When the shrimps are ready the tacos only need a minute or so a side as well.
  6. Built the taco: Lettuce, Shrimps, minced red onion cilantro sauce and top off with some fresh cilantro leaves and some lime juice.
